Fire Table Space Planner

Reviewed on by The Fire Pit Collection team. How we review

A fire table needs more room than its own footprint. This planner adds the side clearance from your manual and the depth of your chairs to the table size you are considering, then draws the whole layout to scale so you can mark it out on your patio before you order.

What to enter

Use the table's outside dimensions from the product page or spec sheet. For clearance, use the number in the installation manual for that exact model, since it differs by brand and burner. For chair depth, measure the chairs you plan to use, pushed back to where someone actually sits.

Beyond the plan

The planner covers side clearance and seating. It does not cover overhead clearance under pergolas, umbrellas or roofs, walking paths, or local codes, so check those against your manual and with your local authority having jurisdiction. Our guide to sizing a fire table to your seating walks through the full process with examples.
