Elementi and Modeno Lookbook
Elementi and its Modeno line make approachable concrete fire tables, bowls and columns that suit a first fire feature or a compact patio. Elementi covers the core GFRC tables and the Elementi Plus porcelain pieces; Modeno brings smaller bowls, square tables and propane columns under the same model system and the same warranty policy. Most propane versions connect to a standard 20 lb tank, and each piece ships with its fire media, a cover and a touch-up kit.
The story
Elementi describes itself as "Originated in Los Angeles, USA," and as "a group of artists and craftsmen" focused on outdoor living. Its research and development team includes designers from the United States, Australia, France and Germany. The company's manuals name it as Ocean Rock USA doing business as Elementi, based in Norco, California.
Modeno is one of Elementi's own brands, listed alongside Elementi, Elementi Plus and others on the Elementi site. Modeno products carry Elementi OFG model numbers, share Elementi's warranty policy and use Elementi's conversion kit program, so you can think of them as one family with three tiers.
The look
The Elementi GFRC tables are handcrafted glass fiber reinforced concrete, and they cover a wide range of moods: the boulder-like Lunar and Boulder, the crisp squares of Manhattan and Columbia, the long rectangles of Granville, Hampton and Metropolis, and cast forms such as Naples and Warren. Elementi Plus swaps concrete for marble porcelain on a metal frame, in black (Sofia and Varna) or white (Bianco and Carrara), for a polished, contemporary finish. It is a porcelain surface with the look of marble.
Modeno leans compact and sculptural. The York and Nantucket bowls are about 27 in. across, the Roca and Westport tables about 34 in. square, and the Basalt Column and Lava Tube stand about 27.6 in. tall with a propane tank hidden inside. The lines we carry
Elementi and Elementi Plus
Most Elementi GFRC tables run at 45,000 BTU with 16 gauge 304 stainless steel burners and pans. We carry Lunar, Manhattan, Metropolis, Columbia, Boulder, Granville, Hampton, Manchester and Naples, plus the Warren and the Sonoma dining height table (listed on our store as the Workshop dining table). Bar height Montreal and Rova tables conceal a standard 20 lb propane tank, and the Lafite barrel table is listed on our store as Tuscany. Elementi Plus porcelain tables (Sofia, Bianco, Varna and Carrara) run at 60,000 BTU and include a porcelain lid.
Modeno
Modeno uses 18 gauge 304 stainless burners. The square and round tables (Roca, Venice, Aurora, Tramore, Westport and Branford) are 50,000 BTU with a 12 in. ring. The bowls and pits (York, Nantucket, Ridgefield and Waterford) are 40,000 BTU with a 9.8 in. ring. The columns, including Basalt Column, Lava Tube and Pompeii, are propane only at 40,000 BTU, and the Basalt Column and Lava Tube conceal the tank inside.
Finishes and colors
Elementi model numbers carry a color code, and the finish names offered for each piece are shown on its product page. On the Warren, Elementi's finishes are Classic Grey and Redwood. The Elementi Plus tables come in black porcelain (Sofia, Varna) or white (Bianco, Carrara). Elementi notes that color and texture variation of up to 15 percent, and small surface holes from casting, are a normal trait of cast concrete.
What comes in the box
Elementi GFRC tables include lava rock, a canvas cover, a repair grout touch-up kit, a 10 ft hose (with a regulator on propane models) and a AAA battery. Elementi Plus tables include a porcelain lid, fire glass, a canvas cover, the repair kit, hose and battery. Modeno pieces include lava rock, a PVC cover, the touch-up kit, hose and battery. A tank cover, stainless steel lid and glass wind screen are sold separately where offered. Elementi asks you not to add extra lava rock, because it can cause the burner to soot and reduce flame height. For media choices, see Fire Glass, Fire Stones or Lava Rock.
Fuel and ignition
Elementi and Modeno pieces light with a push button spark ignition that runs on a AAA battery stored inside the igniter. Most models are sold as separate natural gas or propane versions, while the bar tables and columns are propane only. Most propane models connect to a standard 20 lb tank with the included hose and regulator. Elementi's product pages state the fire features are CSA, CE and UKCA certified.
Elementi's natural gas owner's manual says those tables are for natural gas only, while Elementi also sells BTU-specific conversion kits in both directions, each to be "installed by a qualified installer or gas technician." Treat conversion as a job for a professional with the matching Elementi kit, never an improvised swap. Elementi calls for 72 in. of clearance overhead and 48 in. at the sides and back, on a hard, level, non-combustible surface, outdoors only. Planning tank storage? Warranty
Elementi's Warranty and Return Policy covers "Elementi fire features and accessories to be free from defects in parts and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase," with repair or replacement at Elementi's option. It applies to non-commercial personal use, is non-transferable, and excludes shipping damage, staining, dings, scratches, fading, natural weathering, decorative rock, non-structural hairline cracks, and improper installation or modification. The Elementi Plus product pages list a 2 year warranty, which differs from the general policy, so check the paperwork that ships with your table.
Care
Clean the exterior with mild soap or baking soda, wipe up spills quickly, and avoid petroleum-based products. Elementi recommends a cover or hood for general protection. For winter, the FAQ says a covered unit can stay outside, while the owner's manual advises storing it indoors during winter because extreme cold may crack the top. In freezing climates, follow the manual. For propane models, Elementi suggests detaching the tank in cold weather.

Elementi has owner's manuals by model family, and its product pages list dimensions and weights. We have not found spec sheets or CAD files, so ask us and we will request them. Trade buyers can use our Contractor Program for project pricing.
Common questions
What is the difference between Elementi and Modeno?
Modeno is a brand within Elementi. Both use Elementi model numbers, warranty policy and conversion kits. The Elementi GFRC tables use 16 gauge stainless burners at 45,000 BTU and include a canvas cover, while Modeno pieces are generally smaller, use 18 gauge stainless burners at 40,000 or 50,000 BTU, and come with a PVC cover.
Which Elementi and Modeno pieces hide the propane tank?
Elementi's pages say the Montreal and Rova bar height tables conceal a standard 20 lb tank, and the Modeno Basalt Column and Lava Tube conceal a propane tank inside. The Warren does not. Low tables use a separate tank cover, sold on its own. For any other model, ask us before you plan on hiding a tank.
Is the Elementi Plus top real marble?
Elementi describes the Sofia, Bianco, Varna and Carrara tables as marble porcelain on a metal frame, which gives the look of marble in black or white with a porcelain surface. Each of these tables ships with a porcelain lid and fire glass, and Elementi's product pages list a 2 year warranty for them.
